Grow Zone Recommendation: Violets are perennials that grow in USDA agriculture zones 2 to 11.
Sunlight Needs: Violets are pretty versatile, growing well in partial sun, sun, or even shade.

Average Size: Violets are usually small, from under 6 inches to no more than 12 inches tall, but usually less than that. They can grow 6 inches in width to indefinitely wide as a ground cover, depending on the variety and conditions.
Foliage Color: Foliage is usually a chartreuse-gold, with flowers that come in pink, white, red, orange/yellow, or blue/purple. Some varieties of flowers will feature more than one color.
