When you’re starting your garden, use salt to help the seeds germinate! Just add 1-2 tablespoons per seed hole or 1 cup of salt for every 100 square feet of tilled soil.

If you add some Epsom salt to your soil, then this can help it increase nutrient absorption so that the soil becomes that much better! In fact, if you do this, then you may not even need to use fertilizer!

Is your garden looking brown and sad? If so, then add some Epsom salt to it. It contains nutrients that help boost the green color of your garden.

If you talk to any rose specialist, they’ll tell you that Epsom salt is your secret weapon. Adding Epsom salt to your roses will make them brighter, bigger, and way more beautiful.

For those of you who transplant your garden plants, then you know all about transplant shock. You can help curb this by adding Epsom salt to the soil. Just make sure it doesn’t get on the roots of the plants.

For your plants that have curling leaves, try this. Add 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt to a gallon of water and apply this mixture to the leaves. It should help them get better.

While salt isn’t the best product you can use to repel pests, it still works pretty well. Sprinkle it around the bases of your plants and it will cut up the feet and belly of some insects.

Sprinkle salt in the soil of your fruit plants to make your fruits even sweeter! Epsom salt contains a nutrient that makes fruits taste just a little sweeter.

Epsom salt is a great addition to your garden if you’re growing peppers. The salt can increase both the amount and size of the peppers that you’re growing.
