Get ready for a little fall patio shopping! One of the hallmarks of fall is the slight chill in the air, but that doesn’t mean you have to start hibernating inside. If you have the right things to help you enjoy your patio when it’s chilly, your patio doesn’t need to be deserted as soon as fall hits. In fact, you can even be comfortable enough to entertain guests. Get comfortable while I show you some of my favorite things {from Amazon!} to help you enjoy your patio all season long.
Things to Help You Enjoy Your Patio When it’s Chilly
Number one on my list of things to help you enjoy your patio when it’s chilly is definitely a fire pit. Not only does it provide a heat source, but the ambience just can’t be beat. Plus, you can take the opportunity to roast a few s’mores before the snow flies. Do your research, because there are a lot of options when it comes to a fire pit–wood burning, gas, or propane are all available on Amazon. Gas or propane are good choices if you don’t want to deal with smelling like smoke when you go inside.
The fun of a fire pit isn’t limited to roasting s’mores. If you love popcorn, an outdoor popcorn popper will really help you enjoy your patio when it’s chilly. Since you have to keep the popcorn moving while it pops, you’ll also get an arm workout in.
For chilly fall evenings on the patio, there’s nothing like a string or two of globe lights hanging above. They provide the right amount of light when entertaining, and they’re just fun to look at! Grab a 25, 50 or 100 foot string of outdoor globe lights at Amazon.
Cozy blankets and comfortable seating are musts for enjoying chilly weather on the patio. You can even replace your summery furniture cushions with pillows and cushions in the rich colors of fall. Try a warm buffalo check blanket to wrap yourself up in.
Don’t forget a set of battery-operated pillar candles! They have a way of making indoor or outdoor living feel cozier than ever. And that’s just what you need to enjoy your patio when it’s chilly.
To put the finishing touch on your fall patio, don’t forget to fill a few planters with my favorite fall flower–mums!
