You can never go wrong with the traditional stone fence. Go ahead and stack stones on top of each other or use large boulders that don’t require stacking. Just make sure the fence is stable and won’t crumble if children play on or around it.
We live near the mountains and have deer get into our yard and garden all the time. We’ve been trying to figure out a good fencing solution to keep them out. I like your idea about using bamboo as a fencing material. You don’t see that very often in our area. Thanks for all the ideas. I’ll keep them in mind.
Oh such beautiful garden. If I have the money, I’d change my garden every 2 months perhaps? I just love beautiful garden. They are therapeutic. Thanks for this!
I really love the fence in the first picture. I’ve always wanted a quaint little white fence to go around my garden like that! My husband and I just bought our first home and we are so excited to get a garden started. Of course, that means we’ll be wanting to put in a fence to protect the plants. Thanks for all of the pictures!
Thank you very much for sharing! I think the fences with potted plants, such as #16, or the birdhouses, like #8 are the neatest, because they incorporate the nature herself into their fence through colorful plants or “birds of a feather”, and get to add a little creativity by painting and decorating the birdhouses/pots
